Why Sell All You Have Instead of Give It to the Poor?

Normally Jesus just says come follow me.

Leave your nets - he didn't say "sell your boat"

Don't say goodbye to family 

Don't even bury your dead.

This guy he wants to take time for a rummage sale.

Change your focus away from your immediate comfort.

Burn the bridge. Let there be no way back from choosing to follow Him.

Consecrate - Whatever I have, use it to be kind to myself or others.
