Power: Change vs. Transformation

Not well organized thoughts, but I was thinking about 2 Corinthians 4:6

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

where it talks about light and glory. Light seems to be the biblical term for energy (they didn't have chemistry and physics back then. That's the only energy they could see). Energy applied over time is power. And power - all power - is the power to change.

Glory is a special kind of power. It's the power to transform.

I'm not sure of the difference between change and transformation, but I think transformation is a special kind of change. Most change affects only circumstances. Transformation alters the intrinsic fundamental characteristics of a thing so that it becomes something different. It's changing externals v. changing internals.

To become more like Christ is more of a transformation than a change.

If you're doing it right...
