Glory - transformational power
In other contexts, it also refers to manifestations of transformational power, like visible light.
Or sometimes the change caused by transformational power.
Or, as a verb, "to show transformational power" or "to reflect God's transformational power"
And it's not always God's transformational power. Men can have glory, too, as they have power to transform by organizing the matter and energy around them. However, that is merely a portion of God's transformational power that was delegated to man. Matter and energy themselves are God's handiwork.
Anyway, as I come across this word more, I may have to refine this...
In 3 Nephi 12:16, "glorify" may mean "focus attention on"
