Spiritual means = thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations
What do all these spiritual truths allow us to do better? What advantage does reading, studying and living all this stuff give us?
Emotional control. The ability to get into the mood to do something good or kind or productive that is also - short term - uncomfortable or inconvenient.
