In John Bytheway's talk on the war chapters, he speaks of Amalikiah's trick of asking his victims to "come down just a little bit."
It made me realize that I can become a little more like God each day if I "come up just a little bit" at my choice points. I don't have to do things perfectly, but I can do things just a little better.
