Joy

A attention-catching phrase from "The Fountainhead", ostensibly about architecture, but which could apply to nearly any personal passion:

"...a crusade and a consecration to a joy that justifies the existence of the earth"

Adam fell that men might be, and men are, that they might have joy. In our theology, joy does, indeed, justify the existence of the earth.
