I don't think I understand joy. I think maybe it's the act of reflecting on a moment of happiness and knowing that you deserve it.
Joy is triggered by color, movement and symmetry, and abundance, because these are the signs of current life, current health, and the future ability to survive. I'm alive, I'm healthy, I have resources.
Knowing that I deserve that happiness means knowing that my actions align with my values without contradiction.
