Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Challenges from adversity will make it hard for me to keep moving forward in faith. Those are obvious and easy to ask for strengthening help against.
What's more dangerous are the insidious whisperings of the adversary seeking to slowly shake my confidence and undermine my resolve.
But these only have power when I accept them as my own voice. When I recognize their true source, I am free to reject those voices, banish the adversary, and call upon the Lord to renew my strength.
