Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
Falling short of the mark is not a problem caused by having a mark.
The solution is keeping my eyes firmly affixed to the mark, NOT giving up on having a mark altogether.
Despite Satan's artful attempts at discouragement telling me otherwise.
