Daily Ponderings: Remember the Word of Him

D&C 10:70

And now, remember the words of him who is the life and light of the world, your Redeemer, your Lord and your God. Amen.

I should listen to what He tells me and do it.

This I Know: Ignore

I will hear words of discouragement. I can ignore them.

Daily Ponderings: Their Faith in Their Prayers

D&C 10:47

"And I said unto them, that it should be granted unto them according to their faith in their prayers;"

I should act as though I will receive what I've asked for. He will help me.

This I Know: Needs

I don't need anyone's approval to take care of my own needs.

Daily Ponderings: Stirreth up Their Hearts

D&C 10:24

Yea, he stirreth up their hearts to anger against this work.

I can let my heart be stirred up to good works. He can help me.

This I Know: Family

Time with my family isn't the problem, it's the point.

Daily Ponderings: Stand Fast

D&C 9:14

Stand fast in the work wherewith I have called you, and a hair of your head shall not be lost, and you shall be lifted up at the last day. Amen.

I can keep going in the right direction despite temptations and distracting voices. He can help me if I ask.

This I Know: Time

I have enough time to get done what needs doing. Anger comes from believing otherwise.

Daily Ponderings: Write That Which Is Sacred

D&C 9:9

But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong; therefore, you cannot write that which is sacred save it be given you from me.

The things I write are precious and they are for me.

This I Know: Sleep

The sleep I get can be enough.

And, behold, it is because that you did not continue as you commenced, when you began to translate, that I have taken away this privilege from you.

Forward progress makes time.

If I listen, He will speak. I should take His advice.

I should be kind, including to myself.
