And we know that all men must repent and believe on the name of Jesus Christ, and worship the Father in his name, and endure in faith on his name to the end, or they cannot be saved in the kingdom of God.
I can do hard things. He can help me if I ask.
Or canst thou be humble and meek, and conduct thyself wisely before me? Yea, come unto me thy Savior. Amen.
I can turn toward Him.
Which is my word to the Gentile, that soon it may go to the Jew, of whom the Lamanites are a remnant, that they may believe the gospel, and look not for a Messiah to come who has already come.
I can choose what to believe.
And it is by my almighty power that you have received them;
He will give me the power to do what I need to do if I ask.
Behold, I, Jesus Christ, your Lord and your God, and your Redeemer, by the power of my Spirit have spoken it. Amen.
I can have help from the Spirit when I am feeling sad or weak or tired if I ask for it.
And now I speak unto you, the Twelve—Behold, my grace is sufficient for you; you must walk uprightly before me and sin not.
I should stay focused on the best use of my time.
And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!
I can have great joy. He can help me find it if I ask.

I need to find a way to love. I can look at someone and think of one thing I honestly like about them.
And I, Jesus Christ, your Lord and your God, have spoken it unto you, that I might bring about my righteous purposes unto the children of men. Amen.
I can hear Him if I listen.
Wherefore, you have received the same power, and the same faith, and the same gift like unto him;
Power is the power to have faith to act in pursuit of what I want, in the face of an uncertain outcome.
And this you shall do that my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., may not be destroyed, that I may bring about my righteous purposes unto the children of men in this work.
I should focus on things which are righteous.
And I will tell you that which no man knoweth save me and thee alone
If I ask questions, I will get answers. "How" questions are best.
And now, behold, I say unto you, that the thing which will be of the most worth unto you will be to declare repentance unto this people, that you may bring souls unto me, that you may rest with them in the kingdom of my Father. Amen.
I can spend more time doing things that are of more worth. He can help me know what they are and give the power to do them if I ask.
Behold, blessed are you for this thing, and for speaking my words which I have given unto you according to my commandments.
When I do hard things, I get blessings.
And I will tell you that which no man knoweth save me and thee alone
When I ask questions, I get answers. I should ask more questions.
For many times you have desired of me to know that which would be of the most worth unto you.
I can know what actions are of most worth. He can help me if I ask.
Hearken, my servant John, and listen to the words of Jesus Christ, your Lord and your Redeemer.
I should listen to what He tells me to do, and do it.
And behold, thou art David, and thou art called to assist; which thing if ye do, and are faithful, ye shall be blessed both spiritually and temporally, and great shall be your reward. Amen.
I should do the things I am asked to do. He can help me know what they are and how to do them if I ask.
And, if you keep my commandments and endure to the end you shall have eternal life, which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God.
I can do hard things. He can help me to enjoy them if I ask
Behold, the field is white already to harvest; therefore, whoso desireth to reap let him thrust in his sickle with his might, and reap while the day lasts, that he may treasure up for his soul everlasting salvation in the kingdom of God.
I can have what I want. He will help me if I ask.
Upon you my fellow servants, in the name of Messiah I confer the Priesthood of Aaron, which holds the keys of the ministering of angels, and of the gospel of repentance, and of baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; and this shall never be taken again from the earth, until the sons of Levi do offer again an offering unto the Lord in righteousness.
I can watch and notice when angels minister to me. He can help me see it if I ask.
